Blessings follow lessons and calamities follow when you repulse advice.
교훈을 따르면 복이 따르고,  충고를 물리치면 재앙이 뒤따른다.

 

Trees are known by their fruit and man are judged by their work.
나무는 그 열매에 의해서 알려지고, 사람은 그가 한 일에 의해서 평가된다.

 

The free movement of the fingers is to avoid listening to gossip. If you hear gossip, cover your ears quickly.
손가락이 자유롭게 움직이는 것은 가십(gossip)을 듣지 않기 위해서이다. 가십이 들리면 얼른 귀를 막아라.

 

You shold not judge or judge others without putting yourself in the other party.
상대방의 입장이 되어 보지 않고서 함부로 남을 평가하거나 판단해서는 안된다.

 

If a word at the right time is worth a penny, silence is worth two cents.
꼭 알맞을 때 하는 한 마디 말이 한 푼의 가치가 있다면, 침묵은 두 푼의 가치가 있다.
